Shot/Reverse Shot: Episode 109 - Star Wars
In the wake of Force Friday, a day in which people lost their collective minds over toys for a film that won't come out until December, Matt and I decided to sit down and discuss the current state of Star Wars. In addition to trying to come to terms with the way the series may change now that it isn't being driven by the idiosyncratic vision of George Lucas, we also talk about our personal experience with the films, and the crazier parts of the Expanded Universe.
Aside from the main topic, we also talk about Straight Outta Compton, Matthew Weiner's ill-fated attempt at feature film directing, and the upcoming Russ Meyer/Roger Ebert biopic.
