Shot/Reverse Shot: Episode 96 - Mad Men
This week, we mark the passing of one of the best television shows of the past decade, Matthew Weiner's sometimes hilarious, sometimes heartbreaking, always compelling skewering of '60s and '70s sexual mores Mad Men. In addition to talking about the way in which the show ended, we discuss its myriad strengths as a work of visual storytelling and its function as a key text in the ongoing television renaissance. We also say goodbye to David Letterman, whose tenure on The Late Show ended this week, and discuss our disappointment in Tomorrowland and Pitch Perfect 2.
