To commemorate the start of the annual Sheffield Documentary Festival, or Doc/Fest,the inimitable Joe Gastineau and myself decided to talk about possibly our most pretentious subject to date: Truth. To that extent, we talk about documentaries, the question of whether or not some documentaries can claim to be "truer" than others, and our shared distrust of the biopic genre, a genre we have such disregard for that we don't even know how to pronounce it properly. As ever, we round off the show with a Top Ten, which this time around consists of our favourite documentaries. It's a good one.
